    With a midi fighter pro you have endless opportunities. you can get scratch samples and go with that and then drop into another song. Im not sure with the stanton scs3 system, never messed around with it so nothing to say with that. with the MF ill try scratch samples and effects mixed up into other songs

    Where is this competition? I ask because I want to find out if this is about turntablism/controllerism…or just produce some 15 min edit mix and then beg people to vote for you.

    It’s here in Anchorage, Alaska baby!!! It’s gonna be live, but I have no idea how the winner will be decided, like I said they have been very vague with the details….

    Rules of Competition

    • [COLOR=#888888]DJ must bring all their gear (equipment) except speakers, light, and amps. To include mixing board, music, and cd’s records, etc.

  • A total of 10 minutes is allotted for setting up and tearing down between sets.
  • You will have 15 minutes to play your sets.
  • In order to feature all DJ’s equipment changes between Djs must flow smoothly. Please be prepared so we can stay on schedule.
  • Performing order will be handed out at the Dj meeting the week before the show.

This isn’t on audience applause is it?

If so, then it’s just a scam to get free DJs and a crowd.

If not, then I’d assume it’s turntablism/controllerism.
