    Well, depends how much ur gonna spend on the thing – i dunno how much your iPhone is worth. But at full price I would definitely NOT recommend the iDJ3. It’s just a Mixtrack Pro with an iPod dock. You can’t mix from the iPod’s library or anything like that. To me it has zero utility and so the extra price is not justified.

    Otherwise, it feels exactly like a Mixtrack Pro. So if you’re not bothered by the dock and you can get it for a good price, then go for it.

    Before that, make sure you have a decent laptop/desktop PC to be able to run DJ software without problems.

    So how much are you going to get it for (with the other things)?

    Ok so I think im buying it, my thoughts always were on the mixtrack pro so I think its cool , my iPhone here is valued at 350$ more or less and the package with the controller,headphones and the laser pack is $330 kind of, btw im using a white macbook but I dont know if its good or bad… thanks for the advice

    Tell me the specs on your macbook (processor and RAM).

    It says it has a 2 GHz Intel Core Duo processor and also, maximum RAM: 2.0 GB

    I don’t think you’ll have problems. But if you have a way of testing the setup before you buy the package, then you should do that.
