ParticipantI have not tested this (hope to remember to do it when I come home from work today)
But I really think that you should report this issue on the NI site, so that NI can fix it!//DJ Hessler

ParticipantI sent an email to NI’s Technical Support shortly after I posted here. Hopefully I hear back from them with a way to resolve this soon.

ParticipantI hope so, however, from what I’ve heard, Native Instruments isn’t known for their quick customer support. ๐
In the mean while version 1.2.7 is fine so I’ll keep using that. ๐

ParticipantUpdate.
Someone on the DJTechTools forum suggested that I “trash” mt preferences file. Anyone else have any thoughts?
Also, where do I find the Preference files?September 14, 2011 at 8:40 pm #7459Michael M. Hughes
ParticipantHas anyone tried it on a Mac yet? As much as I’d love to upgrade, I don’t think I have the cojones to do it a night before my gig….

ParticipantI have not had this problem either. I’m also using 2 X1’s and a DNX1600.

ParticipantUPDATE!
I think I may have solved my problem. I just finished a stress test (all four decks playing looped track and effects
going while opening and closing the Preferences box) and NO problems! What I did was to clompletely uninstall Traktor Pro 2 (I didn’t touch Traktor Pro 1.2.7) and then deleted all of the Traktor
Pro 2 folders. Reinstalled Traktor Pro 2, only this time, I didn’t allow Traktor to import my settings from TP 1.2.7.
Scanned all of my music folders, shut down Traktor to save my preferences.

Just curious, what is your latency setting ? I didn’t notice any clicks, popping or drop-outs when I was testing, but
Traktor’s CPU indicator seemed a bit higher than what I’m used to.September 16, 2011 at 5:01 pm #7566Chris Jennings

Traktor’s CPU indicator seemed a bit higher than what I’m used to.13.6, but I have it set a little high intentionally. I don’t do much if any kind of stuff that would require much lower. The way Traktor measures latency and the way the display shows it is completely different in 2 so you’ll see more movement in the meters than you did in 1.2.7, that’s normal.

Ok, mine is set at 11.6. I was just wondering if I needed to kick it up a tad.
Thanks ๐September 16, 2011 at 5:10 pm #7568Chris Jennings

Thanks ๐the way I test it is to load all the decks up and run all four FX channels. Lower the latency until you get pops then, raise it up to where you’re comfortable. I think I stopped getting pops around 11.6, but went up a tad more. I also have the mixer set at 44.1 khz.
