Nope. Either edit in Audacity (not recommended for MP3s, what with compression lossiness) or just mix out by then.

I think all tracks have excess shit, why does this matter?? is it for auto-play?

Yea, I figured Audacity was my only option. Reason is I’m trying to record 2 tracks together and just make it one longer track but that “noise” at the end of the first one is driving me crazy. I keep trying to just mix it manually but struggling and I’m psychocrazy and want to have it PERFECT.

you should check out a program called mix meister, this way you can throw the songs together and just drop the volume at the end of the track you dont wanna hear then export it as a finished song, and its handy since you do edit everything untill you like it.

Why don’t you just stop the track yourself? Drop the fader quickly or something. I don’t see the issue…

yeah I would say audacity – Its what I use for quick edits or for extracting a sample out of a track – I mean you can’t beat free right? Or like benny says just time it right with the fade out or possibly set a cue point to the end of the track.
