I am wondering what he kept doing with his ‘Body Weight’ on the Corners though; he wasn’t driving a Motorcycle ?
He was doing So Well (I Hope it wasn’t You Subculture :)); but he wasn’t really Following the Racing Line; and I think the ‘Apex’ on the Corners was something he had Forgotten About 😉August 21, 2011 at 12:43 am #6084djsubculture@gmail.com

To be fair, it was 1. His first time at that track. And 2. His first time in that car.
Keep in mind that was a practice run, not an actual race.Good thing he was in a caged car.

For a Practice and in that Car for the First Time I would give him Top Marks then 😎
His Partner and Himself seemed Quite Proud of the Mess of the Car after the Crash though; unless that was just because he was Alive 🙂August 21, 2011 at 1:07 am #1001460djsubculture@gmail.com
ParticipantJust because he was alive. 🙂
Nice way to turn an expensive (not Porsche or Ferrari expensive, but still) race car into scrap metal. 😮
Turn 9 at Willow Springs is a monster! Go on youtube and search Willow Springs Crash. Most are at turn 9.That same driver STILL races though.

MemberI Only Race in Video Games of course (the Forza Motorsport Series); but it wouldn’t Surprise me if ‘Some’ Teams ‘Practice’ this way (as do the USA Military – in Video Games); but to Actually Drive/Race in Real Life would be Class :cool:;
And I Love those small Peugeot/SEAT type Cars for Tight Corners 🙂August 21, 2011 at 2:01 am #6088Emma Partnow

How could he be so stupid as to have the visor off… A piece of glass could have flung through and left him blind…

A lot of guys do this. Mainly because of glare.

I get why he does it, but the visor is there for a reason. If there is too much glare he should get some other visor that has less glare.

Member4wd car.. the limits are very deceptive and when they go beyond the limit they very very suddenly become a handful.
i’ve only raced or track day’d 2wd drives, front and rear wheel drive so i’m no expert mind.

Actually what happened was, he went a bit too hot into that turn, clipped the FIA curb and the car went end over end.
Cage definitely saved his life!And by the way, it’s an AWD not a 4WD. And yes, there IS a difference.

Participantyo how you all think I got my name. Dj driver baby. Used to race all the time. but how they say, how can you make a small fortune? take a big fortune and go racing with it. Ran straight 1/4 mile tho but a crash is still hurts; physical and in the pocket.
