    it’s not so much the controller thats the issue, it’s the software minimum specs. That said Traktor min specs are 2.4 Ghz CPU, I run it on my laptop, tho it sometimes max’s out and struggle, with a 1.6Ghz dual core AMD. But there is 4 gigs of ram that backs it up.

    Firstly get rid of Vista, upgrade to win 7 or Xp 64 bit, Vista was basically a stop gap till 7 came out its full of bugs. Add more ram, 4 gig be a start, Traktor will run on Turon 1.9 ghz but as Drew says Ram is the key,,,, Do you really want the Best Gear? or Gear that you are comfortable with, while u are learning? …. Dj Gear really is a personal choice, it relies on experience, venues, compatability…. Let us know what you want to do with Djing, im sure people will advise …

    Hi thank you………. I am updating to win 7 with 32 bit also 4 gb ram. I also ordered for Novation Twitch, Now with AMD Turion processor(tm) 1.9 ghz serato Itch 2.0 suppports win 7 with 32 bit it is also ok if I have 2 gb ram but I am gonna upgrade to 4 gb. So it will be good with Traktor Pro 2 aswell. I really love the idea of Twitch being flexible to use any software like Itch, Traktor or ableton.

    I agree with others…perhaps look into an upgrade to Windows 7. It’s not as expensive as you might think.

    If you want to stay on Vista, then learn to perhaps make a user profile with all the security toned down so it will run Traktor fluidly.

    Make sure your RAM is maxed out.

    As for gear, if you like Traktor and money is no object, get an S4.

    I love my MC-6000, have it mapped for traktor 2 and virtual dj, extremely versitile

    If you are looking for the best digital DJ Gear the first step is to get rid of your PC and get a Macbook Pro!
    Otherwise you will not get the best digital DJ Gear ever!
    Then the best is 2xDenon S3700 and Denon X1700 with Traktor Scratch Pro 2
    Second best is 2x Pioneer CDJ2000 and DJM2000 TSP2
    But if you are looking for a controller it is Denoon MC6000. T2
