This is where my kit lives most of the time, I more often than not use my laptop now though.

Not the best picture, but I have had to stitch a couple of pictures together as I cant get far enough back to take a decent picture.

Sorry that it is upside down i couldn’t figure out how to flip it right side up on the post. But anyways i’m currently running traktor pro 2 on a mbp. Kontrol s4, kontrol x1, lpd8, and novation launchapd.

Here’s me… I honestly still dream of owning an s4, x1 etc. but I think I’m home, this set up is all I think I will need for a long time. What’s not in the pic is a stanton str8-60 – but I don’t use that for DJing, only for listening to records at home – I’m a huge Jazz snob and Vinyl is the only way to go for home listening for me.

I still have the Techs but concentrating on CDJs at the moment,

I’d love to pick up a pair of CDJs because I enjoy using them, but it just doesn’t make financial sense. All I’d use them for is running timecode into traktor, so essentially as a pair of insanely expensive jogwheels. Still, if I see a good price on a 1000 I’m always very tempted!

It totally makes sense what your saying here mate, there are controllers such as the S4 which is more than half the price and can do more through Traktor etc.. But I had the 1000’s and 1200’s before i purchased TSP and i still spin CDs and vinyl most hence why i have a CDJ/TT setup. 🙂
