    I believe it does. If the tinnitus is caused by hearing loss from the degradation of the stereocilia. Moreover, most of the other causes of tinnitus are not permanent and/or are treatable. With the exception of Meniere’s diseas.

    And here I was thinking that tinnitus is incurable. So you are saying this new treatment can get rid of the buzz in my ears?

    that’s what i got from the articles i have read… if it’s from the cilia and not the liquid or some other cause

    Well, it is world-storming news, but they are still in experimental stage with mice.
    Until there will be a drug for those with tinitus will surely pass a few years, maybe even a decade or two.
