    My Very first Set-up was 2 Gemini XL500 Direct Drive Turntables, with a Gemini 3 channel Mixer. But getting into the Digitial World I when to (2) Gemini CDJ 10. But it all worked and i eventually got more better equipment. For some time after that I got American Audio MCD-810 and a Denon DNHD-2500 With Denon x-500 mixer…Love that system and still have it. I use it now as a back up system. I think every DJ has had a Gemini Mixer some point in there dj career ;)…And Chuck Keep Posting and Rockin the parties…;)

    Although I have to say I don’t think I ever had a Gemini mixer. When I worked for Juliana’s of Londen it was mostly proprietary gear (they made their own DJ booths with two SL-1200s and a mixer of their own design which sat in an upright position – vertical – in the box that kind sits in my left armpit in my profile pic). What I remember of the early mobile gigs is mostly the Dateq LPM-series. Rock solid 19″ mixers. And Denon dual-CD players. We had every imaginable one I think.
