Aye … must be nice :D.

We can’t help you with the time aspect of it, unfortunately.

Your entire set-up is midi compatible, so you have your pic of software for both mac/pc. Traktor, Serato (don’t think your DJM2000 is Serato certified, so you’d still need and extra sound card I think) and Virtual DJ being the top-3. By the looks of it MixVibes CrossDJ is running a good race and certainly in the top-5 I think.

Your choice will depend a bit on the kind of DJ-ing you do. Obviously you can keep on doing what you are doing, with your laptop with RekordBox being a glorified track library. If you want to move (up-down-sideways, depending on who you ask :-)) to digital DJ-ing, you’d need to pick a software platform and take it from there.

I am an old hand and play mostly mobile gigs, meaning a wide variety of different kinds of music. In the process of finding what software works best for me I am in the process of deciding to move from Traktor to MixVibes.

If you let us know what kind of music, DJ-ing, gigs (or just stay in your bedroom – what a shame of that gear that would be) you hope to be doing, there are plenty people on here ready and able to give you the low-down on all the available software options.

    Good luck and greetinx,
    C.

Thanks for your help mate means alot

Looking in to it all now i love hip hop but i am finding it easier to mix house and dance
watching lots of videos on scratching but i think i need to limit my self to 1 thing at a time
to master it i love learning new things so i find it hard just doing something 😀

Hey and welcome to the forums!
If you need scratching skills: http://www.digitaldjtips.com/dj-courses/#academy

But yes, mixing hip hop is something totally different and I learned it pretty late in my career, but I enjoy it now a lot.
Also not to cloud your steep investment, but mixing hip hop on CDJs is especially challenging.
