I am a two-year user of the MC6000, effectively the 4-deck version of the MC3000. What info are you looking for?

Denon MC6000 + Traktor Pro user here. I had the MC3000 and it was a great controller, but felt the need to upgrade to the 6000 before the store’s return policy expired..LOL.

I’ve done a couple of gigs with it so far and it’s been great. As Chuck asked, what info are you looking for? There are a few people on here that own both units (3000 & 6000).

Well I think its perfect for me in all terms(price wise too), but maybe its too good to be true? So I wanted to know if anyone had any problems on this unit or what they didn’t like

Got the MC3000 around a month ago now and bundled with Traktor Pro its very powerful, Traktor makes the controller tbh it gives your mixes that extra nudge over the competition with the Fx’s and remix decks. Simply an awesome combination in my eyes. Before I played around with an n4 and that isn’t anything on this. If you are to look at alternatives for this controller only other way is MC6000 but if im honest you need to get a play on one of these 3000’s first to see if its for you the price is around £329 everywhere and its built like a tank, only short coming in my eyes is the non standalone mixer feature but it can be used to play 2 rca inputs through so in an emergency its better than nothing!

Agreed, not the worlds sexiest machine. But, I’ll take function over form any day :-).

    One more +:

+ the platters are connected directly to the control bit, no extra gear wheels or anything that can misalign, wear, break, etc.

I actually think it looks pretty good 🙂 actually thinking about getting the MC6000 should I ever upgrade my VMS2, I can imagine it being nice having a 4’Virtual’ deck capability/ 2’Virtual’+ 2 analog:)

I’ve been using the MC3000+Traktor Pro 2 since December 2012. I’ve had a few gigs around St.Pete/Tampa Fl, and this controller is a tank, I don’t think you’ll have any problems with it at all.

Yes Same Here, I love Denon Controllers. I do have a MC-6000 and the MC 3000 is awesome too…Im still thinking of getting one as for a simple backpak setup with some 5″ to 8″ Monitors and have a Mini Party Set up for 25 people :). But if you used this as your main set up…it is club worthy and you can really have a powerful set and setup with this controller.
