    From what I observed:
    Most sites either want you to pay them, which IMHO is a ripoff as most do not give you any promotion or listeners in return, so all you do is spin over their broadcast server for 1 to 10 people who happen to stumble upon you.

    Most serious internet radio stations have a very strict hiring process.

    But I think D-Jam has done some internet radio and he could answer this one even better.

    i remember one of them that was listed was free, kind of like twitchtv for streaming games, but i was on my phone at work and not at home, and then forgot to bookmark it. damned ADD.
