    You could grab a cheap flatscreen monitor at the thrift shop, write “Now Playing” and bring it to shows wit you as a mirror monitor and point it towards the entrance to the booth

    Thats sort of the idea but I dont want the rest of the software on view. I don’t want anyone to see I am playing a premixed set with sync on – I jest of course!

    What started me wondering if this was possible was down to watching what Shoutcast and Icecast do when broadcasting, they read the metadata and transmit this to the listener, so in theory this should be possible.

    Do you broadcast your shows directly from Traktor?

    The intentions isnt to broadcast whilst playing out, but I do occasionally when at home.

    Just a errant though I had. I’ve never broadcasted from Traktor, so I don’t know if it also streams metadata, but if it did, then maybe by broadcasting your set live, then opening the stream on an iPad or something as you suggested, would work
