    loop the second song in a part where you can hear the beat clearly -> beatmatch the songs -> cue the point where song 2 should start -> count in the 2nd song -> hit play -> if you missed it slightly nudge the platter and use the EQ to transition more smoothly
    It is all practise.

    press play with the track muted then monitor it with your headphones. if the beats match, begin raising the volume / mixing.

    Cheers guys. I understand it’s easy enough to nudge the platter until they match, but I was hoping for an easier way of getting it right the first time. I guess looping the cue point, matching it, then dropping it at the appropriate time is the best way. That and practising…
