Good one, used to have the 6000 with 2 2000 running traktor pro2, still see the “others” DJ’s faces my first time with this set up. Switch to Serato and NS6 after going back to mobile (best beat grid for 70’s 80’s salsa and merengue). Now TMX4 with Serato DJ. best controller so far for me.

I know I love Virtual DJ. So I looked for controllers that supported the software.

I also know I will be mainly working in a small bar/club venue and I want it portable. I also wanted the option of a balanced master out, a line input for an ipod in the event I need it and just a few bells and whistles on the controller such as hot cue points and dedicated filters…nothing fancy…just enough for me to get my “high” on playing w/ the hot cue buttons and filter knobs…LOL 😉

So I went with Denon MC 3000. Small compact, durable…I am so looking forward to getting it next week!! YAY!! Ya, just being a total geek…HA! 😀

I have a Denon MC 6000 love the 3000. It so good, as you knw 😛

Got a quick question about the microphone setup on the Denon 3000.

VDJ setup input is microphone. I also made sure the sound card on my laptop is checked for Denon 3000. When I turn on the duck button for the microphone…nothing happens.

Any input?? Much appreciated and thanks in advance 🙂

Did you check the audio routing? You need to route the mic through the software to use all the VDJ mic functions…

The mic that I was using was defective…will need to purchase another one. I tried using my headphone and it worked…not great…but it did 😀

Hehe the old heaphone mic trick, I love it, many do not even know about this stuff anymore.
    Way to go!
