I use a few of the macro effects.

The common ones i use are Wormhole, Laser Slicer and Strech fast and slow for my harder sounding music, electro breaks that type of stuff.

Wormhole i use as i would a filter as its very similar but adds more depth and space to the sound

Laser slicer is like a gate with a beatslicer, i will use this on really big synthy buildups. You can slowly crank the knob to increase the speed of the gate sound so u can make some amazing sounding builds.

The strech is kind of like a turntable stop but different. The 2 different uses i use for it are: doing major bpm transitions where ill have one track going brreeeeeeeeeeeee and then start bringing in my new track 8 beats before the drop and have the strech on it as well and just do the opposite of the first track so it goes eeeeerrrrrrrrbbbboom into the drop…. Sound effects loose their meaning typing them.

Those are just a couple of creative ways i use them…but thats how i have adjusted…the biggest thing is just playing with them and making them sound good bad or amazing…you will just have to see what works for your ear…as that will determine your style of DJing.

I have done whole sets where i havent needed to use any effects too!

I will definitely try Stretch FX transitions this evening. Sounds very interesting.

Anyone know what does Punch In stand for?
According to Native Instruments website Bass-o-Matic & EventHorizon Macro fxs are “Punch In” type effects.
    When can I use them?
