ParticipantBased in Adelaide, Australia, mainly mobile stuff, but I also regularly play on a river cruise boat called the ‘Port River Dolphin Explorer’ and yes, there are dolphins, (the Port Adelaide river is a dolphin sanctuary)and they are well known for their tail dancing (like Flipper).

ParticipantFrom Baltimore, but I stay in America’s asshole (AKA DC) for 3 seasons of the year, and hit up Ocean City MD for the summer. I’ve played an event at Cobalt (have the next coming up the 7th of January) and The Electric Maid in Takoma ( a smaller venue). Going to start up w/ college parties in the area, thinking about seeing what’s good at College Park for New Years

I currently live and play out on weekends in Bangkok. Starting in Feb, I’ll have 2 monthly parties and regularly make appearances at a number of other clubs and bars in the city. There’s the Bangkok Boat Party, Irie Beatz @ Café Democ, Sideshow Kuts @ Nest, reggae nights at Wikee bar. I used to play Bass culture music at Bed Supperclub on Saturdays, but they decided to hire a commercial Dj instead.
At the end of July, I’ll be moving to NYC. My partner is originally from Philadelphia, so I reckon I’ll be making regular trips there on the weekends and holidays.

MemberI’m from Riverside, California (Southern Cali) and I play at Discord in Riverside every Sat and Necropolis (at club Yost) once a month on Weds. They are both goth/ industrial clubs, but I’m trying to get into more mainstream clubs so I can play what I love.. Electro and Dub Step! 🙂

ParticipantLiving in the biggest city in Canada, Toronto.
Currently don’t get many gigs but I am hoping to break into the late night party scene here.
We’re a very tech house city but I’d love to bring out a bit more techno.January 29, 2013 at 1:14 pm #35914Dizzle

Adelaide and Richmond are still mostly the mainstream clubs except many of them have closed down due to city council and such. Most of these buildings have/ are being torn down and turned into condos. A lot of the nightlife moved to King St and farther west. I don’t think El Macambo will ever close, it’s a dump really but there’s so much history. Biggest club in the former clubland now would be Uniun (former Devil’s Martini) opened by INK (owns Guvernment, Cube and now Sound Academy/ docks) where big name djs of varying genres play.

MemberI’ve been off and on around the Philly Suburbs for 25+ years , got back into it to book gig’s for my two up and comming sons. They work the deleware valley – tri state area(PA NJ De). I do triva in Jenkintown weekly and give mostly the mobile stuff to the boys. Lot of dj’s aging out in our area!

MemberRichmond VA, which is a problem now, because there are so many known djs here, but I might move to Kerrvile TX in a few months, which I see being a bigger problem since it has a population of 8000 and as many cows.

MemberHey everyone! I play in San Diego. I partnered w/ a couple of ladies who wanted a dance event every month. We found a club/bar that would allow us to use their venue. Our first dance was my first public gig. 100 people showed up and I was nervous!!! We have been doing it since October 2012. Currently we are not charging at the door. Our next dance event will be Feb 16th and we are going to start charging. The club/bar owner really likes our events. He gives us constructive feedback every-time we do an event.
Now, we are in the process of starting another venue in another part of San Diego where we will also do a once a month dance event.
I am super excited!! So much to learn and loving it!!!
