apart form scratching the DDJ SX is miles better then the S4 for Traktor. There simply is nothing that the S4 can do that the DDJ SX can’t do and then some more. There is already a realy good tsi file for the DDJ SX from Viper. I’ve made my own that I’m not finished with yet.
Each button in each deck mode has it’s own midi message and even the shift+button has is own midi messages, so you almost don’t need to use modifiers at all I’ve only used 2 modifiers to get looproll working in flux mode.

Because of the many options it’s like having an S4 + midifighter + CDJ2000 and standalone mixer in 1 unit.
the DDJ SX is now fully working with Serato DJ, Traktor Pro, Virtual DJ and Djay and soon will be mapped to DJ Player for iPad 😀
The DDJ SX is quite big (witch IMO is good) it’s not nearly as heavy as it looks only 5.8 KG the S4 is 3.4 KG in comparison my VMS4 witch is smaler then bouth is 6 KG.
Well it clear that I love the controller 😀
