    Hey Mel, welcome to the forums! Didn’t know there was still a gothic scene in CA… played on a few goth festivals in 2003 in San Diego and LA… but after that the promoter said it is dead…

    Gothic is all over the place in Socal. Wumpskate, Das Bunker, where I am there’s Club Discord, the place I promote: http://clubdiscord.tripod.com There’s Necropolis and Chamber in the OC. There was a place in SD but they closed a long while back.

    Glad to hear it. Possibly the promoter just ran out of cash to book DJs from overseas to get there for a few gigs… Flights are getting more expensive again…

    I think one of the biggest problems is the club people don’t advertise. We have a websote that i’m advertising and we have link exchange with Gothic places and are on Gothic web-rings as well. I also do website admission every 3-4 weeks.
