You cannot stretch/warp beatgrids in Traktor unfortunately. You can only set a constant grid throughout a track. Yes, I also think that sucks, but fortunately the need only seldomly arises with the genres I spin.

So if a track has varying BPM you can either opt to only grid/play a segment of it, or you are left to keeping it in sync manually.

Bugger that really does suck!!!! When starting a beatgrid with a marker doest traktoe place a grid over the whole track? İn another words how do i just grid lets say the first 8 bars? Or maybe even outro?

Thanks for replying by the way, much appreciated….

you can set the first marker wherever you please. however, afaik the Grid is always in effect for the complete song.

As said above: Traktor is using a constant BPM to make the grid.
However…if you want only a small part of the track gridded then you can place your grid marker to that place and then you gonna be fine for that part….or till it’s drifting away too much.
Ofc the problem is only big if you use sync and traktor tries to keep the 2 tracks in beat/tempo sync.
If you use your ears you can compensate for the drifting or tempo change.
