Well I like the Reloop Terminal Mix series. They are still affordable, but are all metal construction. They are not as cramped as many small form factor controllers, but they are still portable. They have the best jogs I have yet to see another controller beat those. Beside the jogs they are not hugely innovative, but have everything there you need to go along and soon will be upgradable to Serato DJ.
The MC3000 of course also a highly reliable tank built unit, but for my workflow a little too cramped.
I like the highend numarks (NS6,…) but they are expensive and less portable and now under heavy competition from Pioneers DDJ SX.
The cheaper Numarks are good, but I had always one thing that did not cut it for me.
