it goes without saying really… a planned set that is practised is going to sound better than anything that you do just mixing and pressig record cau you have to do it over and over again. You may make mistakes over and over but each time the mix gets tighter. john digweed must practise his sets over and over before live shows cau its very very rare that he doesnt deliver a unbelievable set. Sasha doesnt really practise as much as he used to but when he does well there isnt a dj on planet earth better than him. Its all about practising your mixes so ure performance is the best it can be.
The saying goes a amatuer practises to they get it right… a professional practises to they dont get it wrong.
I know alot of djs that are amazing and are alot better in my opinion than people in the top 100… ask them for a mix and you simply never get one. Why well doing it under pressure is a different ball game and after recording something for 10-15 times… most djs loss patience and give up….
