Thanks for posting.
Please include a track list next time. Also, all mixes reviewed by me should be between 60 and 90 minutes long. These two points have affected your OVERALL DIRECTION score, unfortunately.
This is a high-energy mix, and that’s frequently the point of dance-music: high-energy, the world is f*cked let’s dance! Great attitude behind your track selection — well done.
That said, your transitions and beatmatching ability leave something to be desired: try and stretch out the sweet spot a little more (the sweet spot is when both records are perfect beatmatched and you achieve a new, enhanced, sound). Mix in the next record in the right place and keep ‘em both going for a while.
Mixing in key is always recommended with harmonious dance music styles. At 19:40 you’ve picked just the right track to transition to but you should’ve brought it in sooner and kept it ‘in the mix.’ Missed opportunity…
By the way, great house classic starting at 20:00.. terrific choice!
In short: you might try programming your mix better ahead of time: what comes before what, etc. Do a test run, mix it up, rearrange as necessary and then hit that “record” button. Also keep your tracks organized by keys to achieve the perfect mix. But you are getting close to a harmonically-sound set, however. Looking forward to hearing your next production
