MemberI’ll write as I listen, liking the first track, gave me a good idea of what to expect straight away. The mashup of those two songs is very nicely done and the build up to the actual drop of the 2nd song is great. Nice chillout bit to this as well, would go down awesome in a club! Actually love this Dirty Bit remix (and I hate the original song) Levels comes in next, wondering if you could have possible kept the audio from the previous track looping into this song, may have been a nice touch. Once again, love this remix to an overplayed song, gives it a new breath. It’s just dropped, and its insane! Nice fade into Lights, didn’t disrupt the flow too much, once again, this slow down would go down a treat in a club. Dude, do you have this hidden super power where you just find unreal remixes! Goin’ in just came in, felt a bit sudden for me, but I’m still unsure if thats just me being awkward. Oh wow, loving this track to man! Wasn’t too keen on the ending, maybe would have just faded the track out, unless that was the actual track?
Overall, I seriously enjoyed it. Your fades/transitions were superb (minus one, which like i said, may just be me being awkward) You have amazing tack selection and there wasn’t a song I felt didn’t fit, you gave the tracks some good playtime, which is a personal plus for me. I tried to imagine myself in a club with this playing, and visioned myself bouncing around quite alot, which is a good thing.
Honestly, I’d give you 8/10 as a personal score for what I like to see. I would have liked to see the vocal overloop from Dirty Bit into Levels and maybe have Goin’ In come in a little softer. Keep it up man, this is awesome! I would appreciate it if you checked my mixes out on my soundcloud below and possible leave some feedback if you have the time. Peace!

MemberWas quite excited when i saw it was an Electro mix but quickly realized it is not my type of Electro. Never the less as a mix I thought the song choice was Amazing all the songs fitted like a jigsaw and the mixing was very neat. My only gripe was the fading out of the last track sounded a little odd. My only advice would be if your using Traktor try using the delay freeze set to a quater of a beat and use that to fade out the end of your mixes. I tend to find this useful. I think I would also give the mixing 8/10. Hope this was useful.
I will be uploading mixes as soon as I find a way of getting a decent quality recording out of Traktor in external mode so feedback will be useful then.
Keep up the awsome mixing, do you do any really dirty electro mixes?

Memberthanks for the reply,
i don’t have any real electro uploaded yet but i think im going to upload one in the future so stay tuned!
unfortunately can’t help you with the recording, I was using serato dj intro and recording from the line out with both master and cue playing in the headphonesSeptember 7, 2012 at 4:41 am #1011753Prototype1
MemberHey Davis,
Firstly, let me say kudos for a job well done. The transitions felt natural and seamless and they segue into the next track really well. I liked the fact that you took the energy level down on the 4th track by introducing a long breakdown. The ability to be able to vary the energy levels is a sign of a good DJ. Your listener ends up feeling like he has gone on a journey. I felt you were trying to do this within the time limited scope of 10 mins.
Let me add a suggestion but I will to first qualify that I do not know much about electro to be honest playing deep, prog and tech house myself. I will suggest that you try and vary the vibe by exploring tracks that are deeper and darker. I believe this will add greater depth and texture to your mixes which are already very good! But I think it will take it to the next level. One suggestion is to perhaps explore some techno/tech house.
Keep ’em coming buddy! Good job!
