A mate bought the DM-40 from pioneer and they are prety good for small room/practice speaker to get going and are active so no need for an amp. £120 ish i think. Being pioneer if you then did want to upgrade they would hold decent value to sell on. Keep the box and would sell well on ebay

I have krk 6’s which i love but that’s a step up budget wise
