    Haven’t heard the Behringer myself. So can’t really comment. The KA6 I do know, but have never used on in conjunction with Ableton Live.

    Depending on what you want (number of inputs/outputs, etx.) there are plenty of audio interfaces out there.

    I actually tested the Behringer UMC204HD and was pleasently surprised. From all the Behringer gear I tested this one is really useful.
    Of course I cannot say how it will hold up (which is a problem in many Behringer cases), but the quality of the sound was similar to my much more epensive Focusrite. I tried it in FL Studio and Ableton and both had similar side-by-side results with the Behringer and Focusrite. While the Behringer has some nicer features even for Monitoring.

    All in all I was impressed with the Behringer in sound quality and also with the metal casing. The knobs and especially switches also worked nicely and do not feel as flimsy as on other Behringer gear I tried.

    So if the 404HD is anything like the 204HD I had for testing, then it is the first time ever (yes indeed) that I actually would recommend Behringer gear.

    Maybe some of that MIDAS (and other bought companies’) techno and audio skills starting to show?
