There are two places for album art to go, one is with the track, the other is with the folder. Could you mistakenly have put the art in the wrong place?

thanks for your fast answer. the cover art came embed with the files. it does show when playing with preview on OS X as well as a little thumbnail next to the playbar in iTunes but it does not show next to the playlist entrys and also not in Traktor.
this does not happen to all files.

The last part is what has me confused. Are you using a different file format for these newer files?

same prb to me… i’ve always used mp3tag to edit my mp3s. used always 500px pics
but since 2 months traktor randomly don’t “see” my cover art and I must reimport them via traktor command…
