Hello Carl! Yes, I would be absolutely thrilled to collaborate on melody lines. In fact I have been looking for something like that for Awhile. I’ve never done any EDM. I usually compose what could probably be described as jazz tunes. Or a cross between jazz and mood music. Nothing against EDM though; I like an EDM artist called Polar Youth.
I would have to change my style of music a bit to do melody lines for EDM. But I could do that. Shouldn’t be a problem.
I use FL Studio so I could take any files and put them into the piano roll to add melody lines. I also have fast internet so I can handle big files; I got lucky because the internet speeds in Australia are terrible. But I happen to live in an area that got proper fibre internet last year. So if you could give me an email that would be a great next step!
I am also Neptuned Experiment on Bandcamp; just ignore the music that is there right now because it is not as good as the album that I am working on right now! I have done all the composing – about an hour of piano and some brass – and am producing it in FL Studio.
Actually I have struggled to find anybody who has the same composing style that I have with a piano. Probably the closest would be someone like Mike Schoenmehl. That being said, I don’t emulate or imitate anybody; I like to experiment.
