I wouldn’t get Djay Pro I have it and it is alright as a DJ software, After a while I noticed a few things for example if you were going to scratch a bit during you set, the scratch sound from Djay pro sounds very digital. You can add your own sound effects however it is pretty tricky you have to follow the folders and it goes like 10 folders deep. Yes Djay pro does have Spotify integration however you must have an premium Spotify account to use this feature. I will give Djay pro 5.5 out of ten it’s pretty good and the price point is nice however it is lacking in lots of area. Keep your eye on Serato sometimes they have sales where you can get the software for 70 bucks instead of 120. I hope this helps

Have used DJay and DJay Pro. Both should do what you want, especially in the beginning. The Beatpad is a nice iPad controller that has all you need to get started. As for connecting a controller to a club setup … clearly you will be able to hook up the sound output from your controller to the club mixer or PA in most cases. Using the actual mixer with your controller (i.e. mixing on the club mixer and using the controller for decks) will not work. Some software (like Serato and Pioneer RekordBox as well as Mixvibes Cross for example) will let you hook up Pioneer CDJs and use them as controllers. Be aware that you have very few of the features your controller offers (like performance pads just to name one) on CJDs! The experience will actually limit your creativity if you get all out of your controller.

Be extremely careful Kunal, this DJ’ing thing can easily become an addiction! Enjoy the journey…
