Hmm that is strange usually the SX2 should be spot on.
I do not have an SX2 but tried it with my MCX8000 and the LEDs and platters are spot on.
Do you have the latest firmware installed etc.?

    My reply isn’t working.

    Everything is the latest.

I recorded a short video here:

That is surely not normal, there seems to be something wrong here.
Do you use Windows or Mac? If Windows: What driver you using? Is this a clean install?

Windows drivers are the latest and stated above. I purposely purchased this notebook for music earlier this month:
    Alienware 13
    16gb ram
    512 solid state drive
    everything is new and clean.

I might mess with the platter sensitivity. Maybe I’m not conductive enough lol.

    Try the following please:
Let a track play for a few seconds, touch the platter (so the track should stop, do not scratch), raise hand and let play again.
The latency between you touching the platter and stopping the track should be minimal, so should the you raising hand and track resuming be.
If there is a huge latency as in the video, then there is something wrong with the unit, if it is OK then it really could be snesitivity or the way you touch the platter.
