Please post in the correct forums. This is clearly a DJ Gear related question and in no way is resembling an introduction post (yet you posted it in the Introduce Yourself forum).
On-topic: I have to admit the Digi2 isn’t on our radar much, but looking at it from a specs per dollar perspective, it seems like a good deal. 4-channel instead of 2 and stand-alone options are not something the MTP3 offer. Also you get booth out with separate volume control and balanced XLR outputs.
On the flipside is that the MTP3 does offer 8 performance pads. Which is nice if you intend to use them, but need not be a dealbreaker. Also support for software is always an issue with the lesser known brands.
For example there is no Serato support and I doubt there will be RekordBox DJ support anytime soon. Nor is there Traktor support. I understand VDJ supports this controller and I am not sure about the lesser-known DJ software.
As we always tell you to figure out your (desired) workflow, then pick the software that most closely matches that workflow, you may very well end up with a software choice (or already be using software) that isn’t compatible with the Kam controller.
Clearly we know from the many experiences our readers have that the MTP (1 through 3) are solid entry-level controllers. The one question I would ask is “do you want to move from a low-end beginner controller to a higher end entry-level controller, or would you be better off moving one step further up the ladder to the intermediate controllers?”.
