livetronica is something with a bright future that is in public beta testing at the moment so it’s free until it hits full release, but if you provide feedback from beta testing you will get a free copy…
It is not completely stable yet but the creator is reaching for the limit of a what’s possible in dj software incorporating the best elements from DAW and DJ software. Might be worth a look as it could truly be a contender one day if the developer expands and gets the right people in on the project.
But in general mac misses out on open source programs, VDJ Home is free but it’s obviously got omissions of Pro features.
