    I have moved your post to a more appropriate forum, as it was hardly an introduction of any kind. Please help make our (moderator) lives easier by always posting in the right forum.

    By the way, we DO like it when new members or those that have only been lurking til now come out and do an actual introduction, telling us some more about themselves and why they are in DJ-ing.

    BTW, what is the question? Lots of explanatory text, but the question is unclear.

    Sorry if I was unclear….. the question was, can you connect a laptop to a XDJR1 & use Rekordbox in performance mode so you get waveforms etc on the laptop screen & use the XDJR1 as the controller.

    Rekordbox DJ should support ALL current Pioneer controllers …

    Thanks DJ Vintage, I have just spent the last hour or so ready the pdf of the instruction manual for the XDJR1 – & yes, it will work.
