We passed by the Rane stand here at NAMM 2016 to take a look at the new MP2014, the two-channel version of the Rane MP2015 four-channel rotary mixer that came out last year. It takes the best bits from the MP2015 and distills them into a more compact (and less expensive) model that’ll be within reach for a greater number of DJs.
For smooth blending house and techno DJs, we think it’d make a great centrepiece paired with CDJs or turntables – we even saw it in between two Traktor Kontrol D2s!
