    I think (but Elvcon wasn’t too popular here) that would you bought is an old fashioned light box that hasn’t got DMX, but is ment to be hooked up to good ole dimmer packs (the dimmer packs will have dmx usually). Typically multi-cable is used to make that connection to prevent loads of cables from dimmer pack to individual fixtures.

    Thanks I’ve never heard of or seen these plugs before and never really looked at dimmer packs we started with sound to light setup then moved onto dmx only bought these a they were only ten pounds for both of them so couldn’t walk by even if we totally rewire with LEDs and dmx it was worth it for the cases they are really well made

    They’re not Bulgin leads are they? I have heard of these being used for light boxes before..

    No defo elvcon you can get converter leads that go to bulgin but still need a dimmer as well so it makes it as cheap to rip it out and led with dmx
