    Played at our New Years Party, in vinyl on a “vintage” turntable (hooked up through a tape deck that we needed to set to REC-PAUSE to get sound of the amp … does it get any more vintage than that I ask?

    Here’s one I encountered recently…

    Title: It’s Alright Now
    Artist: The Beloved
    Label: EastWest

    Genre(s): House
    Year released: 1990

    The Beloved is a UK dance group more known for a handful of Summer of Love hits like “The Sun Rising” and a pop smash “Sweet Harmony”. I mainly heard “Sweet Harmony” over some European radio, but encountered “It’s Alright Now” surfing around clips of an old UK show, Dance Energy.
