    Yep …

supposedly works. Haven’t tried it, but it looks like a more compact, modernized and practical version of something we used in the 70s and 80s that I can vouch for worked.

Mind you, the way the rubber bands are attached in the picture, I’d have a problem with the frame sticking up above the decks. So some modification might be in order.

Also, slightly easier to use, probably cheaper and simpler to transport in your DJ backpack are the FreeFloats.

The free float works but it has also a major downside (like most stuff that tries to float the turntable to isolate):
If you put your hand down on the platter too hard the needle will skip much easier than if it was standing on a hard surface.

Now depending on how much isolation you need you also can go to your next home depot or car accessory shop and buy the cheapest and softest rubber mat you can find. It should not be thicker than a usual floor mat for your car. Usually the mats that have structure (anti-skid) work better than those with plain rubber tops.

The best isolation i’ve found so far is tiles, go to home depot and get a couple of 20 x 20 tiles, that should do it. There used to be an Audio Technica solution in the late 70’s early 80’s AT – 605 better suited for turntables without feet or very low profile ie; SL 1500 mk2, but if your turntable already has some taller feet this would make them unstable and very sensitive. Now a very solid surface, concrete preferred would be ideal and the closest and cheapest would be tiles, i use them for playing vinyl in a small room and works pretty good.
