    ITunes. With all it’s flaws, if you use it EXCLUSIVELY for your DJ collection, it’s well-suited for the task.

    And supported by all major DJ software, including Pioneers RekordBox (DJ).

    Additionally, if you have your DJ library organized in iTunes, the playlists you have in iTunes can be synced to you i/pod/phone/pad, burned to CD or put on a USB stick very quickly and easily. Take your music with you everywhere. You can get to know new tracks during your commute, chores, or chill time.

    It’s also easier to edit tags and such in iTunes. The effectiveness of smart crates and the quality of your metadata are inextricably linked.

    My Library is useful – but not for organising your library. I mostly use it for finding faults with my VDJ database and keeping it clean.. 🙂

    I use iTunes for all my music – it’s much easier than doing everything in VDJ and as a bonus it syncs to my iPod as a backup 🙂
