Please note that the controller is just a box of buttons with a soundcard in it. All the actual work is done by the laptop it is connected to. You could even hook up your computer to an amplifier and just use that, altough it would be good to invest in a dj splitter cable to be able to monitor your next song. You’ll of course also need a pair of headphones for this.
I own a Mixtrack Pro II and it’s nice, but what I’d really advise is at least look at the free videos made by Digital DJ Tips on the basics: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL85AB77DB5A3828A2
Look at some of the lower numbered ones, because you seem to be missing some basics. DJing consists of more than just choosing a controller. You’ll need to choose headphones, software, check you have a laptop that works with the software, etc.
