Hard question to answer as the software is out only recently. And it’s by no means complete yet. 2016 will see a lot of add-on modules.
Having said that, the question is not what is the best software? The right question is “what is the best software for MY workflow?”. And because of that it is impossible for anybody but you to answer that question.
We can answer questions on specific features being there or not and the way they are implemented for example.
There is not, nor imho will there ever be, “The One” software. What works for me might not work for you and vice versa. And software that fits everybody will probably be too general to be very good at anything, let alone everything.
Starting with the choice of controller is even worse than starting with the choice of software as a first step.
You will set yourself up for disappointment, unless you get lucky and your first pick turns out the be just right for you.
Odds are against you though.
