Reloop TM8 or Traktor S4?

As I have a Reloop Controller myself, and I don’t find them super great really because you don’t hear the name often. If it breaks, it is too much of a hassle to get it fix! It all revolves around which software you want to use: Traktor or Serato. Personally, the S4 is good for Traktor (I’m a Traktor user). Have you considered the Numark NV? It is a Serato Controller like the TM8 but has screens to where you don’t have to look at your laptop. You can even close the laptop and it still works! Its the same price as the TM8! I can totally see where you’re coming from! I only typed what I heard so it probably is cheesy. Not to mention, the body is made up of plastic. What’s your budget? Sure the S4 went down in price (599 USD), but you may enjoy Serato more. I would try the “demo” versions of each software since both companies have one. Based on your experience, you can decide which is best. If you pick Traktor, I STRONGLY recommend the S4 due to the amount of features you have! For Serato I’d get either the SX2 (Pioneer 4 Channel) or the SR (Pioneer 2 Channel) since Pioneer is well-known for their products. Also, the S4 can use an iPad if you want! Digital DJ Tips has awesome reviews and you can check out this You Tube channel for another person’s view. As far as I know, both channels and websites have these controllers reviewed. I agree with Bob as far as Traktor hardware/software combo is concerned. Most other brands have that “preferred” thing. I.e. you can use your Pioneer, Numark or Denon controllers with just about any software you want, just not Traktor (IF it works, at the very least the jog wheel integration won’t be optimal).
