Neither to be frank, but hey, this is DIGITAL DJ Tips forum after all :-).
CDJs/DJM are, in my very humble opinion, quickly becoming a thing of the past. The CDJs might get a second lease on life depending on the new RekordBox, but even then, unless you have a midi-compatible mixer, you’ll be missing out on lots.
If money is no issue I would seriously consider the XDJ-RX (or wait what the next NEW RekordBox compatibel controller from Pioneer will be) or the DDJ-SZ (only because from shape/size it resembles a 2000/900 setup). Personally I think anybody with a DDJ-SX2 can do lots more than someone on a club setup could.
Again, it’s all up to you of course and it is your money, but I would never spend 5.500 or thereabouts anymore on club gear where 1.500 to 2.000 can get me something with way more functionality. Leaving a nice chunk of cash to buy a decent MacBook Pro for example.
