    Frankly, if you have to ask then I would stick with VDJ until you are more comfortable..

    If, however, you are comfortable with it (and confident you can use Serato to do a better job than you could with VDJ) then go for it 🙂

    It’s really up to you – it depends on “used it lightly” really means – if lightly means you have messed around on it every now and again then I would suggest sticking with VDJ for now. If lightly means you have been practicing on it a few hours a week for the last couple of months and you are confident that you have imported your DJ database properly etc. then go for it 🙂

    Thanks for the reply! I mean really opening it every now and then and trying it out. For now, i think il stick to VDJ as ive been using it as my Primary software since the beginning. THanks again 🙂

    I actually would try.
    Serato is so easy to use, you never know how it suits you until you dive in and use it live.
    If you do a trainwreck, you can always start VDJ it will only take a few seconds to switch and if its a small party you can cross that time with some fun remarks.
    Just be natural about it.

    But 99% you will be OK just using Serato.
    It is actually how I switched from Traktor to Serato and that is a much more difficult switch.
