    Hi Bergy,

    case of RTFM maybe?
Try to turn the knob that says CUE mix fully to cue and check again. If that doesn’t work check if the knob is active for it’s second function (sampler volume).

I am experiencing the same kind of thing with my new NS7ii, where i need to learn and re-adjust my new work flow. I keep the manual handy at all times and refer to that in case i run into issues.

    hope this helps you.

    regards,

This is assuming everything is setup correctly in your DJ software.

    Vintage is right..
i assume you’r using Serato DJ right, Bergy?
if you are trying Traktor or Cross or VirtualDJ, you might need to review your software’s set-up.

Happens to all of us sometimes that we cannot see the obvious.

Good choice of controller it will hold up quite some time.

Must have bought a Reloop, probably an TM8 … <scrolls back to OP after reading Terry’s comment> … yep, as I thought.

Really liked the TM8… great specs, solid build, good value for money, but… it didn’t seem to like me! 🙁

Occasionally, while playing/mixing tracks, I would get a noticable crackling noise that would remain for 10 minutes or longer, before it disappeared again. After checking/exchanging cables, trying different software, and checking possible latency issues, I figured the crackling could only have been caused by the TM8 itself. So I took it back to the dealer, where I was unable to reproduce the error (of course!!), hence the dealer suggesting that it may be an issue specific to my laptop setup, i.e. possibly my hardware drivers.

Rather than trying my luck with a new TM8 unit, I decided to go for the Pioneer DDJ-SX2 instead… OMG!!! While I really liked the TM8… I LOVE THE SX2!!! Sorry Terry! 😉

Ps: FYI only, I was using the TM8 together with a Lenovo X220 laptop. There has been no further unidentified crackling noises since using the SX2.

No problemo the SX2 is an awesome controller.
Sounds to me that your TM8 had a fault, I never had any such issue.
