If I were in your shoes, I would play as normal using the s4, the clubs mixer won’t make any difference, unless it was your home monitors that are playing up.

Always have a song ready to play either in a cdj or your phone, MP3 player etc, plugged into a spare channel on clubs mixer if you do get any problems. Then the music will stop for only a split second.

If you do get the audio glitches, maybe after 1 1/2 hours change to a cd, phone short mix you can play and restart laptop then go back to s4, do this until end of your set, (not the best but saves the music stopping)

Make sure your wifi is turned off. Any anti virus programmes etc, and this can interfere with the audio.

Have you changed the latency in traktor setting????

Could it be that your CPU is getting a bit hot, the OS then slows it down to cool it down a bit and then you end up maxing it out, causing obvious harsh sounding glitches coming through?

I very much doubt that going through a mixer will help at all though

As said above – turn off Wifi/anti-virus/anything running in the background that you don’t need..

You say you have started have audio glitches. Does this mean you didn’t have them before? Can you tie this up with any change in software or firmware upgrade on any of your equipment you may have done? Does the audio glitch happen when the F1 is playing on its own with the S4 silent? Meaning can you narrow it down to either one of the two pieces of hardware? Can you hear the audio glitch through your headphones on cue or is it just the speakers or both? Check to see you are running the latest Traktor version and that your S4/F1 firmware is all up to date. Of course follow the previous advice posted but get those essential updates out of the way and if you are still having the problem then at least you will have something definite to rule out of the equation in this problem. Good luck with the gig! Let us all know how it went.
