    The rumours around Serato are pretty thin as some of the rumored features for a 2.0 version (like flip) have already materialised in the current versions.
    There is some rumours that there will be even more modifications for effects and the sample player, but nothing really solid. So it might just be internet buzz which is guessing rather than knowing.

    I guess we will have to wait and see.

    if it does happen it would not be ‘re -inventing any wheels. serato has so much hardware licencsed to its software. These all still have to work you cant have loads of new stuff that can’t be operated by these controllers etc. Punters would be up in arms me included.
    How much more can you do with dj software too?
