Well, everything in your CORE collection should be correctly tagged to the point that you can find anything you want anytime you want, using YOUR tags.
Our suggestion is to keep your core collection tight, meaning not 10s of 1000s of tracks. I am currently taking my own advice and rebuilding my core collection. Goal is to keep it between 1200 and 1500 tracks max. And by putting them into iTunes and then MixVibes Cross in small portions it’s very feasible to do all the tags, the album art, the beatgridding and cue points for all tracks and still be done in a few months. It’s an investment, but once done it will be a 1-in/1-out system and I will be VERY picky about what new tracks I let into my collection.
