What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Do you want to have Mixify streaming audio and have it play through Serato DJ?

I doubt that is gonna work. Only way I can see it happen is you were to play Mixify through your laptop headphone out, run a wire into your line in/aux in on your controller and use it that way. Depending on if you can route your line/aux through to Serato (does Serato support that at all, anybody?) you could end up having it in Serato.

Again, I highly doubt there is an easy/standard way to do it.

    DJ Vintage,

Once again I want to thank you very much for your input. I’m new to Mixify.com or streaming live. I did more research and I did get the audio to work with the aux running to the laptop mic port but there was some humming feedback from the audio and the audio quality wasn’t good but they can still hear a very bad quality audio. Someone suggested getting a USB Presonus box but i don’t know if that would help with streaming. But my goal is to stream live audio for my people to hear me spin music with good quality audio and any input would help.

    Thanks,

Might want to look into different software. DJay Pro for Mac and the iPad version both support Spotify. Mixvibes cross has soundcloud integration.

    Thanks DJ Vintage!

Will this Mixvibes support my Pioneer DDJ-SR?! Because I really want for people to listen to my mixes live. I’ve just been using Mixcloud.com for right now and that’s been working good for me so far. Just want to step it up live.

    Thanks,

So you are looking for a way to live stream your mixes??

Not my area of expertise (if I have one?) but I suspect that Vintage has misunderstood what you were asking.

There are 2 ways for streaming services to interface with DJing – one is like what DJay 2 does, where tracks from spotify can be used when playing which means that you dont have to pay for each track individually and you dont have to store all your tracks on your device – and the other is where a output from your DJ software is sent to a streaming service, which I believe is what you are trying to achieve..

I realise that I havent actually given you a solution, but this might help if you can decide which boat you are in (so to speak) 🙂

I want to be able to stream my live audio mixes and nothing pre recorded. I want to be able to stream and mix live over the internet. Sorry for the confusion. something like mixify.com but the audio is not good at all when I am mixing live with mixify.com.

From reading the mixify blurb it seems to support this.. Don’t use it myself though so I can’t check.. Have you tried checking their FAQ?

    #2151851

Yes I checked the FAQ and I plug an Aux cable into the laptop and the audio is very good at all. There is a lot of feedback when I do this. Any suggestions on some way that I could stream live?!

I know some DJ software support certain streaming platforms, but it’s not something I am “into”.
