    No it wont work.
You can have both Itch and DJ installed at the same time, but only one app can run and have midi control. Running both at the same time will be a great mess and also probably destroy your library.

Boo 🙁 I really wish Serato would just allow Xone DX users to use Serato DJ! I paid a fortune for the best controller on the market and now they’ve dumped us like a hot stone. I’d even pay full price for the software if they would just map it.

Would that be the same for me trying to run Traktor and Serato DJ simultaneously? I’ve heard of people using Traktor and Serato Scratch at the same time. I can also use Traktor with the Xone DX.

Firstly it was not Serato it was A&H that said the controller was discontinued and will not get the necessary firmware upgrade to run Serato DJ. So blame A&H for not making a Serato DJ compatible firmware.

Yes there are people that are able to do that and run both, however mixing the 2 together you would need another external mixer and play both soundcards into that mixer. Also while some people can run it, I have a lot of feedback (no personal experience) that it is not quite stable on some PCs. So your mileage may vary and the whole setup might not work for live situations, where you want a 100% stable environment.

Cool thanks for clearing that up. I have a A&H Xone 64 mixer so I can run both through that. The Korg controller can still be used for small parties where i don’t want to be transporting the full set up. Plus i can also use it in standalone mode as an effects unit only. So it seems it’ll add a lot more flexibility. So i’m going to go try it out now and see what i think of it.
