    I’ve been pretty pleased with the Hercules DJ Control Instinct, although it doesn’t have proper pitch faders – and I’m not sure it’s even a valid controller for Serato.

    With both weight and space being an issue, I’d think you might want to consider something like a modular setup. Something like the relatively new Akai A?X-series? You’ll give up the jogs but the AFX has touchstrip, actually allows you to manage 4 decks and has 8 performance pads (and it being Akai I am gonna take a wild guess that they are really nice ones).

    Coupled with the AMX I think that could keep you occupied for a bit. Two small units, USB powered and supported by Serato.

    The Gemini Slate that was in a recent video that Phil did works with Serato and seems rather compact.
